Should your animal fall ill during the night or at the weekend, telephone the practice. This number is answered by a member of the team 24 hours a day. We can provide advice or arrange for one of our vets to see your animal. Bear in mind the person answering your call in the middle of the night may be at home, asleep. Please use the out-of-hours line in true emergencies only.
We have all the equipment needed to provide quality first opinion veterinary care to pets.Out patients are seen during fifteen minute appointments which are available throughout the working week, including Saturday mornings. We are able to provide home visits if you are unable to bring your pet to us; there is an additional fee for this service.
Veterinary care can be expensive. We strive always to keep prices reasonable and are happy to provide estimates for the cost of any procedures. Payment is expected at the time of treatment. We accept cash, cheque, credit and debit cards. Insuring your pet can cover the cost of all non-routine treatment. We do not sell insurance; however we strongly recommend that you take out an insurance policy for your pet. This means that should your pet fall ill, treatment decisions can be based solely on what’s best for the patient without financial constraint.
The vets provide care to over 300 farms in the locality. These range from large dairy herds to pet pigs and everything in between.
