Should your animal fall ill during the night or at the weekend, telephone the practice. This number is answered by a member of the team 24 hours a day. We can provide advice or arrange for one of our vets to see your animal. Bear in mind the person answering your call in the middle of the night may be at home, asleep. Please use the out-of-hours line in true emergencies only.
Hay Veterinary Group is a practice based in Hay on Wye, on the border between Powys and Herefordshire. Our team of vets care for all species of animal, from parrots to alpacas and everything in between. Pets are seen by the vets during fifteen minute appointments at our main surgery in Hay or at our branch in Peterchurch. If you would like us to visit your pet at home that's no problem - see the Visiting Vet section for more details. Horses and farm animals are usually visited by the vets, although we also have facilities to treat these species in Hay.
